To put it in the most simplest terms, a realism server (at least for TNW's case) means a Path of Titans server that is both heavy in rules for fairness and role-playing as an animal. TNW is intended as a more hardcore experience, with death being permanent, injuries being long-lasting, and more - you are meant to be an animal and you are meant to survive as that animal.
Because TNW is not likely to become real in the near future, I recommend looking for other realism servers if you're interested in this style of gameplay. I will not list any though, you will have to find these on your own.
Honestly, right now, not much. TNW intends to bring a much more realistic experience to the table, without the fluff - but I like to imagine that this would still be relatively beginner friendly. I wish I could faff about and say the ideal community for this would make it different, or how we handle groupings or a type of rule, or our events - but since this server isn't real, there isn't much to it yet.
That being said, there is a more in depth look at seasons, there's plans to figure out parasite broods mechanically, and the use of real world ecology being taken into consideration when writing profiles. I hope my writing is what makes this project stand out of the crowd over all else, but only time will tell.
This project has been created solely by one person (Augustus), on-off of the backburner since 2023-2024.
I've felt dissatisfied from the current realm of realism servers, so I wanted to make my own. I have little intention on moderating a community at full-scale - but running the server, hosting events, and writing profiles sounds incredibly fun and interesting to me. I have too many financial responsibilities and not enough motivation currently to actually try to run a server (if I wanted to moderate a community anyways), but I still wanted my writing to be out in the world. If this were to become an official thing, this Neocities would likely be turned into a Miraheze Wiki instead.
